"I started
this firm from scratch on January 6, 1971 (prior to that date, I
worked in personnel/labor relations for General Mills and was their
youngest ever Director of Personnel).
After just six
weeks in business with a major, high-quality life insurance company,
I went completely on my own. Simply put, I quickly discovered that
even though this was one of the finest companies on the planet,
you could not do financial planning from the basis of a one company
approach. No one company has all of the most competitive products
to serve a clients needs. Yet, my early research found that insurance/investment
firms were there simply to sell products, not to provide each specific
product that best fit each specific need area for that client. This
is why total independence is absolutely essential in the financial
planning process.
I proceeded
to develop my own financial planning fact-finding and data gathering
system from that point forward. I simply could not find a financial
planning system that would work for the benefit of the client, so
I had to create my own and constantly improve it over time. Twenty-five
years later we have what I feel is the most sophisticated financial
planning system anywhere. This system comprehensively puts all of
the clients assets in correct liquidity sequence so that you can
make the most professional financial planning decisions with regard
to debt reduction, income stream, asset accumulation based on appropriate
risk level, tax planning strategies, etc. We really know of no other
firm that provides this service. Each and every one of our clients
is offered this on a no-fee basis.
Our philosophy
is that we will make the investment of our time with full confidence
that once the prospective client observes our process and intentions,
he/she will not want to do business with any other firm.
Our major specialty
area is the Tax Sheltered Annuity marketplace. My first ever public
school district was Buffalo, 31 years ago. I am proud to say we
now have 65 school systems in the Western New York area as well
as several other not-for profit organizations to whom we are able
to offer our expertise."
